Lucy Brake is an experienced writer who has a passion for both environmental writing and, as a mother of two beautiful young children both born at home, for natural parenting.
She specialises in writing for magazines, newspapers and websites about a range of 'green' living and parenting issues. Lucy has been writing for over 15 years and has a BSc in Environmental Science, a PGDip in Environmental Management and a Diploma in Journalism and Feature Writing. Lucy is a commission member of the International Union for Conservation of Nature and involved in developing responses to global sustainability and environmental management issues.
She is currently assisting a client in North America to write material and a training programme for assisting parents of children with autism to understand the natural solutions that are available. Lucy is also an Associate Editor for a European-based publishing company on innovative health and environmental research projects and she has recently written articles for magazines in the United Kingdom and New Zealand on eco-friendly parenting.
Lucy's focus for all of her writing is to inject passion to tell a story that helps make a difference for people. When Lucy writes about natural parenting issues she write from the heart and takes pride in providing unique material that delivers answers for readers. Lucy says her vision is "to help create a more sustainable world for our children through sharing knowledge and ideas".
